Programs
Congratulations to Oslene St. Valle-McLorren who completed the Leadership Foundations program!
Leadership Foundations is a newly developed leadership program offered through our Academy for Career Enrichment. It is our flagship leadership development program for all non-faculty “people managers” from Supervisor to Assistant Vice Presidents. Developed in partnership with a Steering Committee of UT Southwestern Medical Center executive leaders, the primary goal of this required program is to build leadership and management competencies among new and existing leaders. The program met once a month for a full day training session from September – December 2020.
“Overall, I thought it was a very good program. It allowed me to understand why and how leadership skills are so critical to the organizational success. I learned how to make good decisions and how to build an effective team. One of my favorite session was learning Employee Relations process and problem solving.” - Oslene St. Valle-McLorren
