Resident Interviews Go Virtual
Thanks to the tremendous efforts of Rhoda Bryant and Catherine Kelley, our first ever virtual interview session with resident candidates has been fantastic. Interviews were conducted on December 3rd and 4th utilizing Zoom breakout rooms. We had 27 candidates being manually moved by Rhoda and Cathy every 12 to 15 minutes across 14 breakrooms. The candidates met with 21 of our faculty. If you get a chance, send a “PACT on the back” to Rhoda and Cathy. Great job!
Jo returns
We are happy to announce that Jo Urquhart has rejoined our department on a part-time basis. Welcome back!
Graduates recognized
As part of Medscape's celebration of their 25th anniversary, they are recognizing 25 young physicians who are rising stars in medicine, poised to become future leaders of their fields. Two of our former residents, Dr. Ade Adamson (UT Austin) and Dr. Shadi Kourosh (Harvard) were included in Medscape’s “25 Rising Stars in Medicine”.
Virtual Holiday Happy Hour
Over twenty of our faculty, APPs, residents and clinical fellows gathered together for some holiday fun including trivia games. Congratulations to Dr. Khang Nguyen and Dr. Andrew Park for winning! Also, a big “thank you” to Drs. Divya Srivastava and Rajiv Nijhawan for planning this event and to Liza Valdez-Morales for coordinating everything.
