Residency Program

Welcome to the UT Southwestern Dermatology Residency Program website! We are located in Dallas, Texas, on the UT Southwestern Medical Center campus, home to one of the nation’s top medical schools for clinical training and research. Our program provides outstanding preparation for future dermatologists through well-rounded experiences in patient care, didactics, and scholarly activities.

Our program aims to:

Provide an innovative and comprehensive curriculum in clinical dermatology and basic science to prepare graduates to provide the highest levels of patient care
Teach residents to evaluate, integrate, and contribute to evidence-based-medicine through scientific inquiry
Produce physicians who provide high-level, compassionate care to their patients and their communities and become leaders in professional organizations and academic institutions
