Cell Biology Core Facilities
The Electron Microscopy Core Facility (EMCF) and the Quantitative Light Microscopy Core (QLMC) are institutionally supported imaging facilities based in the Department of Cell Biology. They are available to all faculty, postdoctoral researchers, and students campus wide. To learn more about their services and how these core facilities can support your research, please visit their respective websites (below). A full list of all core facilities at UT Southwestern is available.
Electron Microscopy Core Facility (EMCF)
The EMCF provides transmission and scanning electron microscopy, as well as other services, including correlative light and electron microscopy (CLEM) and immunogold labeling.
Quantitative Light Microscopy Core Facility (QLMC)
The QLMC is your A-to-Z resource for all your optical microscopy imaging needs. Besides providing affordable access to state-of-the-art microscopes, we customize microscopy training, advise on sample preparation, help with image quantification, and offer basic microscope maintenance. We can even streamline your data handling and image visualization as well as fully automate your image analysis workflow through customized Fiji macros. For more information, please visit our website.
