Pediatric Cardiology
The Division of Pediatric Cardiology provides nationally recognized comprehensive care for children with congenital and acquired heart disease, maintains a history of seminal research and discovery, and oversees an outstanding and widely recognized training program. Our faculty offers both routine and specialized care at Children's Health Heart Center.
A few notable highlights of our Division include:
- Perform more than 600 cardiothoracic surgeries a year
- Busiest pediatric VAD and transplant program in the country
- Four physician-scientists/Ph.D. scientists on faculty
- Seven advanced fellowship tracks
Our faculty serve as co-directors of multiple multi-institutional international learning networks (Cardiac Networks United and Pediatric Acute Care Cardiology Collaborative) and maintain leadership activities with many others, collectively demonstrating our focus on research and discovery and quality improvement science.
