Meeting the needs of globally impacted areas begins here in our community. When disaster strikes or any situation results in acute or unmet health care needs, our priorities are to ensure that our local community is prepared and ready to serve where needed.

Our Work

To this objective, our faculty and fellows participate in organized formal search and rescue, disaster medical assistance, and tactical medical teams. We foster the readiness of our community, state, and nation by providing multidisciplinary educational and training programs to the health and medical workforce.

Through research and scholarly activities, we are committed to advancing medical science in many disciplines including:
