From her nominator: “This nurse has helped to build the Rapid Response Team (RRT) at our organization from the very beginning. Now she is the coordinator for 14 RRTs, where she is active in nurse volunteer recruitment, education, and onboarding. She also facilitates the care of emergency patients, employees, and visitors at each building. Over the years, this nurse has also developed teams to respond to the growing pediatric population and better address the needs of these patients. She has been instrumental in developing protocols the teams follow, advocating for resources, and selecting the communication system they use.”
