Medical Mysteries: What's your diagnosis?

Medical Mysteries Header

As part of Heart Month at UT Southwestern, we’ve launched a series of cardiology-themed “Medical Mysteries” on our Facebook page. In part 1 of each video, we present an actual case and invite readers to “solve” the mystery. For each case, you can check out the imaging tests and share your diagnosis in the comments field on Facebook.

Twenty-eight hours after each case is presented, the diagnosis is revealed on Facebook, so you can find out how our physicians solved the medical mystery.

If you haven’t been following along on Facebook already, we’ve already got two cases on the books.

Medical Mystery #1

A patient presented to the William P. Clements Jr. University Hospital ER with symptoms of severe aortic stenosis and heart failure, but her condition deteriorated quickly. Can you solve the medical mystery?
