Model Systems The Model Systems Knowledge Translation Center is funded by the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research . The model systems outline research and identify health care needs in individuals who have been diagnosed with traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and burn injury.
