Costs
If accepted, you will be considered a full-time employee of UT Southwestern for a 1 year contract and receive a salary commensurate with all first-year residents. In addition, you are eligible for full University benefits which include full medical and liability insurance coverage, retirement options, sick leave, and accrued paid time off.
Program costs include textbooks, journal subscriptions, and a one-time education fee of $800. Additional experiences outside of the residency curriculum such as professional associations, national meetings, and travel are the responsibility of the resident.
