The team of neuromodulation experts includes a neurologist, neurosurgeons, allied health professionals, a coordinator, and research staff.

What we do

We provide comprehensive evaluation for patients for interventional therapies such as deep brain stimulation (DBS) surgery, HiFU, or MRI-guided focused ultrasound (MRgFUS) lesioning procedures for disorders such as Parkinson's disease and essential tremor. The team educates patients and caregivers about the best treatment options. The clinic sees close to 100 patients per year for evaluation of these advanced treatment options.

Collaborations

We work closely with Neurosurgery and Neuroradiology for interventional therapies. Our HiFU group is a leader in utilizing advanced tractography imaging in tandem with the HiFU procedure to precisely target the selected brain region. This approach improves patient outcomes and reduces adverse events.
