Though headache is one of the most common neurologic diseases, access to headache care is scarce, especially in underserved communities.

Our team of headache specialists is proud to offer a headache specialty clinic at Parkland Health, one of the largest safety net hospitals in the nation.

What we do:

We offer comprehensive evaluation of headache disorders including migraine, tension-type headaches, and cluster headaches. We also administer botulinum and nerve blocks for patients who meet the criteria and have access to an infusion center. Pain psychologists are integrated into the Headache Clinic to offer therapy – such as cognitive behavioral therapy, biofeedback, mindfulness meditation, and traditional psychological services – and guidance to patients and families.
