Epilepsy Outreach Clinic

Led by Rodrigo Zepeda, M.D., our clinical care team comprises faculty, an advanced practice provider, a nurse, a social Worker, and a Medical Assistant. 

What we do

This clinic is a pivotal component of our safety net hospital, Parkland Health. The initiative enhances the accessibility of specialty care to the underserved.

Our team offers a range of services, including but not limited to:

• Evaluation and management of epilepsy or new-onset seizures
• Surgical planning
• Specialized care during pregnancy

Additionally, our medical assistant travels to seven of Parkland's satellite clinics, ensuring that patients with epilepsy receive comprehensive care in locations close to their homes.
