Hispanic-Latino Heritage Month 2023

The keynote speaker for this year’s Hispanic-Latino Heritage Month Signature Event was Gustavo Hinojosa, President of The Mexican American Museum of Texas.

As the keynote speaker for UT Southwestern’s Hispanic-Latino Heritage Month Signature Event, architect Gustavo Hinojosa advocated for “cultural wellness,” in which people learn as much as possible about their own heritage and appreciate how others are shaped by their culture. The Oct. 11 event was sponsored by the Office for Institutional Opportunity and the Hispanic-Latino Business Resource Group.
