Demetria “Dede” Wilson
Program Coordinator
Internal Medicine – Allergy and Immunology
First UTSW job: File Clerk in 1993.
Best part about my job: Feeling valued.
How co-workers describe me: Friendly, always with a smile on my face.
Best UTSW memory: When I was running late for work due to a ticket – which was my second or third speeding citation – one of the audiologists had a police officer (her husband) come and “arrest” me due to outstanding tickets. We joked around a lot, but she got me good that day!
Passion: Family time.
Surprising fact: I love all activities dealing with height, bungee jumping, and free falling. I enjoy riding scooters and motorcycles. I also love soccer and played co-ed well into my 40s.
