Michael Reddin: 25 years
Payer Plan Manager
Patient Financial and Access Services
First UTSW job: Marketing Representative for the former Texas University Health Plan (TUHP).
Best part about my job: UTSW has some of the most awesome employees you could find anywhere. I have made some incredible friendships, and my current department is like a family.
What energizes me at work: Learning something new every day. There’s never a dull moment!
How co-workers describe me: Loyal, authentic, cheerful, funny, and sincere – not to mention prone to breaking out in song at any time.
I wish I were an instant expert at: I would love to be able to work the stock market – to know when to buy and sell.
Hobbies: Traveling to Colorado, which I consider my happy place. There’s so much to see and do there, and so many adventures await me every time I go.
Surprising fact: I sang for Bill Clinton when he was Governor of Arkansas, and Hillary Rodham Clinton, then the state’s first lady, gave the commencement address when I graduated from Southern Arkansas University in 1986.
Final note: I am so thankful for the time I’ve spent here at UTSW and for the many people and experiences that have had a huge impact on my life, both professionally and personally.
