First UTSW job: Office Assistant at Ob/Gyn Clinic at Oak West Health Center.

Best part about my job: Getting to meet new people every day, working with a good team of co-workers, helping others, and knowing you are making a difference.

How co-workers describe me: Dependable, caring, and willing to help others.

Funniest UTSW memory: One was coming to work with two different pairs of shoes and noticing when I was walking through the office.

Hobbies: I enjoy making and decorating Christmas cookies with my family and crafting.

Claim to fame: I had the opportunity to meet Maria Shriver, who came to UTSW to do an interview on a research study being done by a bariatric doctor I was helping in a research study.

Final note: It doesn’t feel like 25 years at all because I have enjoyed my work at UTSW.
