Leaders in Clinical Excellence 2022: Get to know this year’s winners
The entire UT Southwestern community was invited on Nov. 10 to join a live celebration honoring the recipients of the fifth annual Leaders in Clinical Excellence Awards, including the newest holder of the Patricia and William L. Watson Jr., M.D. Award for Excellence in Clinical Medicine, which remains UT Southwestern’s highest honor in clinical care.

Since 2018, UT Southwestern’s Leaders in Clinical Excellence Awards have recognized clinical faculty for their exceptional contributions to the care of our patients, to the education of the next generation of health care professionals, and to UT Southwestern overall.
Each of this year’s award recipients represents the best of UT Southwestern, and their efforts are an inspiration to us all. The entire UT Southwestern community is invited to honor them in person at the fifth annual Leaders in Clinical Excellence Awards.
The ceremony will once again be hosted by UT Southwestern President Daniel K. Podolsky, M.D., and include remarks from W. P. Andrew Lee, M.D., Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, Provost, and Dean of UTSW Medical School, and John Warner, M.D., Executive Vice President for Health System Affairs and Health System CEO.
The event will be held in-person on Thursday, Nov. 10, at 4:30 p.m., at the Tom and Lula Gooch Auditorium on South Campus. To ensure there is enough food and drink for all attendees, we are asking you to RSVP. Please find RSVP and event details online. There is also an option to view a livestream.
