What energizes me at work: Working to meet a deadline and putting a smile on someone’s face.
How co-workers describe me: Reliable and a team player with a cheerful spirit.
Unusual UTSW memory: Meeting Chuck Norris while he was filming “Walker, Texas Ranger” in the Simmons Biomedical Research Building. My mom was a huge fan, and he was happy to take a photo with me.
Surprising fact: I played the clarinet for 12 years.
Hobbies and passions: Spending time with family and traveling.
I wish I were an instant expert at: Cooking and troubleshooting computer issues.
Final note: One of the best decisions I’ve made was moving to the big city of Dallas from a very small country town in Louisiana 25 years ago and landing at UTSW!
