First UTSW job: I started as Supervisor of Managed Care billing at MSRDP (Medical Service Research and Development Plan).
Best part of my job: I love the puzzles I get to solve every day. Each one has offered a new opportunity to learn and grow.
How co-workers describe me: Knowledgeable, helpful, and patient.
Surprising fact: I would be surprised if there’s anything about me that people don’t know. I’m an open book.
Notable memory: My most endearing memory is from when I was going through a very difficult time in my life. I attended a meeting with the clinical department supervisors. After the meeting, they all hugged me before they left. I have never been so humbled or touched in my life. I find it remarkable that many of the friends I met in 1993 are still my UT family today.
