UT Southwestern Medical School is ranked among the top 20 medical schools for primary care and the top 30 for research in the United States, according to U.S. News and World Report’s 2020 Best Graduate Schools Rankings. UT Southwestern ranked 18^th for primary care and 26^th for research.

Among medical specialties, UT Southwestern nationally ranked:

• 15^th for Internal Medicine
• 16^th for Pediatrics
• 17^th for Anesthesiology
• 20^th for Surgery

Among health specialties, UTSW ranked:

• 7^th for Physician Assistant Programs

UT Southwestern Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences is ranked 18th in the nation among graduate schools for Biological Sciences and 13^th for Biochemistry.
