First UTSW job: I started as a Clerk in General Surgery.
Best part of my job: Giving students knowledge to assist them with their responsibilities makes me feel good. Also, working with a staff that is caring makes the days so enjoyable.
How co-workers describe me: Giving, bubbly, and caring. I dress in festive colors. A co-worker once told me I looked like a piece of candy corn. I hope it was a compliment!
Surprising fact: I have never been married and have no children.
Unusual memory: When I was a Research Coordinator, I wore a lab coat with my name on it. One day, a patient saw me and yelled, “Hello Dr. Taylor.” I was embarrassed, and explained I was not. A physician pulled me aside and said I should be proud, as my demeanor led her to assume I was a doctor.
