Aleyamma Mathew: 25 years
Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse
Zale Lipshy University Hospital, 6th Floor Rehab
First UTSW job: Working as a Licensed Vocational Nurse at the former St. Paul University Hospital.
Best part of my job: I consider myself fortunate to work with highly educated co-workers and supervisors. Working at a prestigious teaching hospital that is the future of medicine has challenged me to constantly learn and improve.
How co-workers describe me: Compassionate and reliable. Surprising fact: Both of my children are nurses, and one works at William P. Clements Jr. University Hospital. I love cooking, gardening, and traveling.
Best memories: My best memories include receiving the Meritorious Service Award in 2009, a Silver PACT Service Award in 2005, and recognition as a UTSW Rehab Unit Most Valuable Employee in 2017.
