First UTSW job: I was hired as a Clinical Research Nurse in the Outpatient Clinic for the General Clinical Research Center (GCRC) RO1 Grant. When the grant ended, I was the Clinical Research Nurse Manager of the Clinic. I started with the GCRC on July 28, 1986, had a two-year break from 2009 to 2011, and returned on Feb. 1, 2011, to the Clinical Trials Coverage Analysis group.

Best part of my job: It’s challenging and interesting – and not repetitive.

How co-workers describe me: Organized – I can locate what I need when I need it. Direct – I like to get to the point without any long, unneeded, or roundabout detours.
