From his nominator: “In 2018, the mental health care landscape changed here in Dallas County, resulting in a surge of behavioral health patients across the Metroplex. Cornelius took notice and proactively sought to put systematic interventions in place to expedite psych transfers to the inpatient unit and reduce dwell times in the ER. By streamlining the intake process, dwell times have continued to improve.”
