Sandra F. Davis: 30 years
Graduate Medical Education Program Coordinator
Obstetrics and Gynecology
First UTSW job: Working as an Education Assistant in the Residency Training Office in 2002.
Best part of my job: I really love the phenomenal people I work with, as well as being given the opportunity to work in an amazing department that is so compassionate about providing excellent women’s health care in an underserved population.
How co-workers describe me: Trustworthy, dedicated, and hardworking. “She will always go above and beyond to make sure others are OK and will drop everything to help a co-worker in need,” one colleague says.
Surprising fact: Even though I have an outgoing personality and am sometimes outspoken, I don’t like to draw attention to myself or my accomplishments.
Best memory: One of my best memories was the excitement of a fourth-year visiting medical student who took a night call on the Labor and Delivery unit after her workday ended. She expressed so much excitement about all of the things she did during that one night, which was more than she was able to do in her third-year clerkship or during electives her fourth year.
