Lavorris Connally: 25 years
Patient Financial Services Supervisor
Neurology and Neurotherapeutics
First UTSW job: I started working as a Medical Record Clerk in 1992.
Best part of my job: Helping patients get insurance approvals to continue their care or treatments. I meet a lot of people from all walks of life. I’m happy to have contributed just a little part and helped along their way.
How co-workers describe me: I believe they would say I’m a hard worker, dependable, compassionate, and dedicated.
Best memory: There are so many best and funny times that I can’t even begin to count. I have worked with some really great people and shared a lot of love and laughter through the years, and I still do today.
Surprising fact: I have four daughters and three granddaughters. Girls rock!
Final note: I love spending time with my family and enjoying my granddaughters: Ayanna, Ishanna, and Kaisley. I enjoy cooking with my mother and family, eating and having fun together, and making our special moments in life. My children are always telling me I’m a workaholic and need to take time out to travel. I hope to take them up on this and take a trip – maybe to Paris. It’s on my list of things to do!
