World Doctors Orchestra: Music with a purpose

In October, five physicians and a medical student from UT Southwestern performed as part of World Doctors Orchestra (WDO), a nonprofit organization that plays benefit concerts worldwide. Two other faculty members assisted behind the scenes with audiovisual and photography support. “It was just such a pleasure and a privilege,” said Sing-Yi Feng, M.D., Professor of Pediatrics, who organized the local effort. The WDO group performed twice, first at the Caruth Auditorium in Dallas and then at the Eisemann Center for Performing Arts in Richardson.
