UT Southwestern celebrates Pride Month

For the third year, members of the UT Southwestern community participated in the Dallas Pride Parade in support of the LGBTQIA+ community. The June 2 event started at Fair Park in Dallas.

In June, more than 400 members of the UT Southwestern community participated in Pride Month celebrations in support of the LGBTQIA+ community. The festivities began with a celebratory Pride Brunch at McDermott Plaza on South Campus, followed by the UTSW community walking in the annual Dallas Pride Parade that began at Fair Park. In the parade, UT Southwestern won the best walking group award. UTSW-led events were hosted by the Office for Institutional Opportunity and the Office for Student Empowerment and Engagement.
