Record number of UTSW employees lauded in PACT recognition ceremonies
For their exceptional customer service in the most recent calendar year, UT Southwestern team members earned a collective 809 PACT Gold and Platinum pins – the highest number in a single year for reaching milestones in the institution’s PACT Program.
UT Southwestern’s PACT Program celebrates employees and faculty who exemplify these standards:
- Problem Solving
- Ability, Attitude, and Accountability
- Communications and Compassion
- Teamwork
Recognition can come from managers, co-workers, internal or external customers, faculty, patients, or visitors.
There are four levels of PACT pins: Blue (four PACT cards), Silver (eight), Gold (16), and Platinum (achieved by reaching Gold status five times). Among the all-time high number of winners were 25 Platinum and 784 Gold PACT pin recipients – including a mother and daughter (Mary and Sara Garcia) who received Platinum and Gold pins, respectively. PACT pin winners represented Academic Affairs, Business Affairs, and the UTSW Health System.
Their achievements were recently honored by UT Southwestern leadership in a series of special get-togethers that each included an ice cream social, photo opportunities, and a pin presentation. Be sure to view some highlights in the photo gallery below.
