UTSW steps up to the Dallas Heart Walk

Thousands of UT Southwestern employees, along with their friends and family members, turned out to Reunion Tower on Sept. 23 to participate in the 2023 Dallas Heart Walk.

This year’s event drew more than 2,700 registered walkers and 198 teams from UTSW. Together, the UT Southwestern community raised over $39,000 for the American Heart Association. Donations assist heart disease and stroke patients, fund research at UTSW and other leading research centers, and promote wellness initiatives.

Attendees walked either a 1-mile or 3-mile route through downtown Dallas. Click through the gallery below to see how our UTSW blue could be spotted every step of the way.
