Recognizing UTSW’s Clinical Research Professionals

UT Southwestern’s inaugural Clinical Research Professionals (CRP) Day on Nov. 12 celebrated clinical research staff with a luncheon, tokens of appreciation, fun activities, and an awards ceremony to honor their contributions to advancing treatments and discoveries at UTSW. The campus is home to more than 500 CRPs who manage the administration, organization, and day-to-day care of patients who volunteer for clinical trials. Their dedication, hard work, commitment, and attention to detail are crucial in driving the institution’s research forward and improving patient outcomes. The Cardiology team was recognized as the Best Research Billing Compliance Team this year. Senior Research Associate Elviche Lenou, center, and Supervisor of Clinical Research Amy Browning, right, represented their group at the CRP awards ceremony and received the award from Dr. Pappu.
