For the second year in a row, students at Biomedical Preparatory at UT Southwestern made Valentine’s Day cards for patients and staff at William P. Clements Jr. University Hospital. The heartfelt effort, orchestrated by the school’s Parent Teacher Organization, began during art class and ended with lots of smiles at the hospital. While second graders are showcased in these photos, students from all grade levels contributed. The holiday-themed project brought joy to both patients and UTSW employees while instilling in the young learners the significance of serving others. Biomedical Preparatory is a unique STEM-based elementary school that opened in 2022 as the result of a partnership between UTSW and the Dallas Independent School District.
