UTSW supports Adaptive Sports Expo

With more than 300 attendees and approximately 30 organizations represented, the community came out in full force for the sixth annual UT Southwestern DFW Adaptive Sports Expo. The Oct. 15 free event, sponsored by UTSW and held at UT Arlington, was a huge success, with a variety of sports, recreational, fitness, and wellness activities available to individuals with impairments and disabilities.

UT Southwestern’s Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation takes part in this annual event to increase awareness of adaptive sports and promote active, healthy, and engaged lifestyles. Expo co-sponsors included UT Arlington, PM&R Fort Worth, and Scottish Rite for Children.
