Housestaff alumnus Dr. Igor Puzanov, M.D., FACP, was honored by Italy’s Fondazione Melanoma, (Melanoma Foundation) during the Melanoma and Immunotherapy Bridge research meeting in Naples, Italy, for outstanding and lifelong contributions to melanoma research. Dr. Puzanov is Chief of Melanoma and Director of the Early Phase Clinical Trials Program at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo, New York. He has played a key role in the development and approval of several breakthrough anti-cancer drugs.
