Welcome to the Home Page of the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.  Our Division is devoted to excellence in patient care, postgraduate subspecialty training, and clinical and basic science research.  Our clinical service sites include St. Paul University Hospital, Zale Lipshy University Hospital, Parkland Memorial Hospital, the Dallas VA Medical Center, and the Aston Outpatient Clinic.  Our outstanding faculty provide subspecialty care through clinical programs in cystic fibrosis, interventional pulmonology, interstitial and occupational lung diseases, neuromuscular breathing disorders, pulmonary hypertension, sleep and circadian disorders, and lung transplant.  The Division’s rigorous fellowship program is designed to train physicians in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques relevant to diseases of the thorax.  We offer both clinical and research tracks in this fellowship, to foster the development of both community and academic pulmonologists.  Finally, our faculty perform cutting edge research focused on respiratory biology and disease, with important collaborative links to both clinical and basic science departments here at UT Southwestern Medical Center.  Please do not hesitate to contact us for questions regarding any aspect of our Division.

Sincerely,

Lance S. Terada, MD,

Chief, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
