The excellence of any educational and research institution is determined by the caliber of its faculty and UT Southwestern has many distinguished members. Faculty members pursue a teaching philosophy central to UT Southwestern's mission through the years - to produce graduates who are problem-solvers, not merely receptacles of knowledge. We have four active Nobel Prize winners conducting research at UT Southwestern as well as several faculty members who have been elected to prestigious medical organizations.
