Sleep and Breathing DisordersAccording to the National Sleep Foundation, approximately 40 million Americans experience sleep disorders. UT Southwestern Medical Center’s Sleep and Breathing Disorders Center is among the most advanced in the nation at accurately diagnosing and effectively treating all types of sleep disorders, including insomnia, narcolepsy, parasomnias and snoring. We also focus on pulmonary neuromuscular disorders such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, myotonic dystrophy, Duchenne's muscular dystrophy, post-polio syndrome, multiple sclerosis and scoliosis.
