Digestive and Liver Diseases

UT Southwestern Medical Center is a major referral center for patients with the most complex digestive and liver diseases. 

Our Digestive and Liver Disease Program is the product of the teamwork of gastroenterology, endoscopy and physicians who specialize in treating colon, gastroduodenal, liver, pancreatic, inflammatory bowel and diarrheal diseases as well as esophageal and swallowing disorders. Our physicians also provide service to UT Southwestern's Bariatrics Program.

Physicians at UT Southwestern treat each patient with attentive and personalized care, and our clinicians and researchers direct some of the most innovative work in the field.

At UT Southwestern, our specialists have the extensive knowledge and expertise that comes from evaluating and treating thousands of patients. On an annual basis, our clinicians provide care for more than two million outpatient visits and 89,000 inpatient visits.
