Continuing Medical Education
The mission of the Continuing Medical Education program is to promote the continued professional development of physicians to deliver the safest, highest-quality, and most effective patient care.
Purpose
The program fulfills this mission by conducting appropriate assessments of learner needs and developing effective strategies designed to change competence, performance, or patient outcomes.
UT Southwestern is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Regularly Scheduled Series
Regularly Scheduled Series (RSSs) are offered weekly, monthly, or quarterly. A RSS is primarily presented to UTSW's professional staff and generally targets the same audience over the whole series. This includes grand rounds, tumor boards, and morbidity and mortality conferences. Each series addresses a wide variety of relevant, current topics specific to each specialty.
