The President’s Advisory Board provides President Podolsky and Medical Center administration with guidance on the opportunities and challenges the Institution faces across all three parts of its mission – clinical care, education, and research. The Board convenes three times a year. Members include diverse civic, corporate, foundation, and philanthropic leaders from throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Advisory Board Leadership

Debra Hunter Johnson serves as Chair of the President’s Advisory Board of UT Southwestern.

Ms. Johnson is President and Principal Consultant of Reciprocity Consulting Group, Inc. She is a seasoned leader with 30 years of experience as a corporate legal and HR executive, corporate culture consultant, and business advisor. She strengthens leadership, workplace culture, and employee experience strategies and metrics to make companies more competitive. She drives long-term value by leveraging 30 years of deep human capital management, legal, and governance expertise across numerous industries, including multinational, large-cap, and highly regulated companies. She also is a startup investor with a focus on technology and healthcare.

Ms. Johnson has been a member of the UTSW President’s Advisory Board since its inception, chairing the Marketing and Public Affairs Committee and serving on the Executive, Nominations, and Technology Development Committees. Her community service interests center on access to healthcare and economic empowerment initiatives.
