On-campus Dining

We operate multiple food service locations and offer a full-service catering program that is available campus wide. All dining options, with the exception of vending machines, are cashless. For those with cash, guest dining cards may be purchased at the North & South University Stores and the Cancer Center Outpatient Gift Shop.

ARG Catering & Special Events

Indulge in our comprehensive catering services, complete with an onsite pastry chef, available seven days a week. Serving the UTSW Campus and beyond, we cater to all your culinary needs.

ARG is proud to be the exclusive caterer of ND14, NG3, Simmons Cancer Center, and BMES.

Catering Office Hours:

Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Catering services provided outside of regular business hours may incur additional charges.

Service Details

Pricing
- Prices are per person unless otherwise specified.
- Prices do not include sales tax.
- Minimum delivery order is $50 or 10 people. (ARG can prepare and package smaller orders for pickup.)
- Special-request items such as flowers, rental equipment, service staff, or specialty menu items require extra charges.
- ARG Events held Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3p.m. incur no additional staffing fees.
- ARG Events held partially or fully outside of those hours will incur staffing fees in addition to food and beverage costs.

- Disposable dishware and utensils
- China service is available upon request
- Condiments
Equipment Pickup
- ARG must pick up equipment by 3 p.m. or alternate arrangements must be made. (Pickups after 3 p.m. may require additional charges.)
- Missing equipment may result in replacement charges.
- Disposal of items is the responsibility of the customer.
- ARG will not handle food not provided by ARG.

Department Coffee, Tea, & Water Ordering

Average order turnaround time is 7-10 business days. For payment, once your chart of accounts (COA) is entered for your first order the supplier will send us every invoice and we then journal entry the amount to your account.

Debit/Credit Card Transactions

If a debit/credit card transaction fails to deliver product, the machines have drop sensors that should recognize product failed to deliver. It will take 48 hours, but the authorized charge should be credited back to your account.

Cash Transactions

If a cash transaction fails to deliver product or correct change, you can get a refund through the mail if you’d like to provide a mailing address. Alternatively if you are an employee on site, American Food & Vending can have our tech refund money on arrival, as they like to schedule a service call anytime a machine malfunctions.

UT Southwestern has three Mini Mart convenience stores, operating 24/7, that provide a wide selection of fresh and delicious food to maintain a healthy and productive work environment.
